Alarm clock

Off

07:00

Now --:--:--

Keep this tab open: a browser alarm can only ring while the page is open and the device is awake.

Notices

Choose the time (24-hour or with AM/PM, depending on your device).

Add a label if you like, pick a sound and press Set alarm.

Leave this tab open. The board shows the current time and how long until the alarm.

When it rings, press Stop sound or Snooze for 5 more minutes.

A web page can only ring while it is open. Close the tab, let the computer sleep, or lock a phone, and the browser may stop the page; that is why the warning above stays visible. For a wake-up alarm on a phone, the built-in clock app is more reliable.

Your alarm is saved on this device. If you reload, it is restored and keeps counting.

Questions

Will the alarm work if the tab is closed?

No. Browsers do not let websites run when they are closed. Keep the tab open; it can be in the background.

Will it work if my laptop goes to sleep?

Not during sleep. When the computer wakes, the page notices the time has passed and rings straight away.

Can I set an alarm for tomorrow?

Yes. If the time has already passed today, the alarm is set for the same time tomorrow.

Why do I need to press a button for sound after reloading?

Browsers block sound until you interact with a page. One tap or key press is enough.
